No, we do not provide direct childcare. Moms are supplied a list of resources which include area childcare providers. We allow the mom to choose a provider that they feel best fits her family’s needs.

Family care is not an emergency shelter. Our primary focus is to provide support to mothers who have chosen to better their families situation by seeking further education or full-time employment and are in need of support during their journey to success!
 

Family Care can offer referrals to other resources that may be helpful to you and your current needs.
 

We allow up to 3 months of transportation, as needed, while a mom is in our program. 
 

We do accept expectant mothers if we have an opening! What a JOY to be a part of the journey of a momma and her precious little one!!

Family Care is designed to help mothers make long-term changes for the betterment of their family. All mothers are required to be working, or attending school, or both to help ensure that this happens.

There is a minimal monthly charge for each mom to assure commitment to the Family Care goals and establish a rental history to aid in future housing applications.

Our journey together doesn’t have to end when a mother leaves! We are here to provide different levels of support for as long as she needs and to be a part of her life as long as she wants!

Hubble Home

Our family care ministry provides rooms for the moms and children. Each family will have their own bathroom and access to a shared kitchen and living area.

“Over my years, I have seen so many struggling moms,” stated Bobbie Novak, the Family Care Program Manager. “It isn’t lack of desire, but lack of guidance.” Joining the Show-Me family in 2006 as a housemom, Bobbie is uniquely qualified to lead the program as a previously accredited Family Support Provider. “I’ve had a passion especially for the mothers of the children, because I had their babies in my home,” stated Bobbie. “You always want to have the parents as part of their life and part of their success story whenever possible.”
